私は時々、土と岩だけからなる広大な土地に一人佇む自分をイメージします。
そのたびに、自分が、果てしなく広がる世界を構成する一要素として
一瞬だけ存在しているのだという事実と対峙することになり、
不安と安心という矛盾を孕んだ不思議で魅力的な感覚に包まれます。
どうやらその感覚は、私の作品表現の核になっているようです。
私の、世界の本質に対する問いかけは、いつもそこから始まります。

この展覧会では、鉱物から生み出され、その表情を持つ金属(ステンレス・スティール）を使って、

SCARTS の広い空間の中に、大きな岩のような形状を設置しました。
観るだけではなく、作品に触れて、空間の中を散策し、物質感が生み出す気配を感じ取っていただけたと思います。

I always had a desire to create the work expresses sensation of entering a huge rock. In this work, I challenged to make it happen. The peculiarity of the work is that appreciation is carried out by all five senses.
The work consists of two large stainless steel Trapezoid forms of 5m x 3m x high 2.8m. Stainless steel is used to express sense of mineral. I made stone shape mesh texture on surface so whoever enter the inside the form feels less physical pressure and can create more imaginable senses.

Text for "Landscape Will 2019":
“Moment” is a concept created by the human sense of time. If the interrelation of time and perception change, so will its meaning for moments. Sometimes I imagine myself standing alone on earth where I only see rocks or soil. I experience feelings of loss form the fact that I exist as an element of the endless world. Strangely, this ephemeral comes with relief and uneasiness at the same time. Somehow, it can be the core of my work expression. My questions about the essence of nature always starts from here.
